Ms. Anamika Verma

Head...WLCI Creative School

Head of WLCI’s Creative Schools, Ms. AnamikaVerma comes with an experience of over 20 years in the fashion and export industry. Through her comprehensive career, she has held various senior management level positions and has led several independent projects. Having interacted and worked with clients, buyers, designers and fashion houses from the Europe and US, Ms. AnamikaVerma brings with her globalinsights about the workings of the creative fields of fashion and design.

Ms. Verma attained her Undergraduate degree in Sociology Honors from IGNOU. She also holds a Post graduate diploma in Export – Import Management, Trade and Marketing from the India International Trade Centre, New Delhi. She has acquired a diploma in Fashion Forecasting and Merchandising Development. Ms. Anamika was also certified by the Indian School of Business under the Women Entrepreneurship Program for Business Management.

Ms. Anamika has worked extensively with clients and leading Fashion houses and exporters in India and abroad. Her clients included - Jones Apparel Group, Inc.{various brands, including Jones New York, Nine West, Gloria Vanderbilt, Bandolino, VAC, Jessica Simpson, Sanctuary}, Rene Derhy, Walther, Cornell Overseas, EL Corte, Oxygeno, Trucco, Jasco, Monsoon, Salola, Anokhi, Pier I Imports, H&M, Metro, Next, Esprit, Gap, FCUK, Nicole Fahri, River Island, Chicos, Karen Millen, JC Penny, Marks &Spencers, Mexx, Walmart, Target, Whistles, American Eagle Outfitters, Debenhams, Hugo Boss, Armani Exchange, Calvin Klein, Max Marra, Marina Rinaldi. Shruti Pandey
Ms Shruti Pandey is a Media professional with Post Graduation in TV & Radio Journalism from Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan, Delhi and has done Diploma in Human Rights from IIHR, New Delhi. She has a working experience of over ten years in the media industry with News Channels like Doordarshan, Aaj Tak and India TV as a National reporter. She worked with Dream Catchers as a producer and joined MassCoMedia as a Senior lecturer. At WLCI she trains students in TV Reporting, Communication Studies, TV Anchoring, and Channel Management Studies.
Deepti Baveja
Ms. Baveja has 23 years of experience in advertising. She has been a Creative Director and a Design Consultant and has worked on leading brands like TATA, Godfrey Phillips India, Dabur, HMV, ITDC, Nestle, Delhi Tourism and Kerala Tourism. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Applied Arts from Delhi College of Art, Delhi University. An MFA, Gold Medalist from Delhi University, she has conducted workshops and projects in the Royal College of Art London, UK. She was also empanelled as specialist lecturer with the Dept. of Technical Education and Art colleges. She is an active member of Indian Design Alliance Institute (IDAI). Her interest lies in the area of idea generation and lateral thinking
Akshay Sharma
Mr. Akshay Sharma is a post graduate in media production. Starting his career with IBN 7 as a Sports Journalist, Akshay has an experience of 12 years in the Media Industry. Over the span of 12 years he has been associated with the best production and highest TRP based shows that include “Mano ya Na Mano” “Kasauti Zindagi Kay” “Kuch Iss Tara” “Roadies” etc. Besides TVC production, he has also been associated with the advertising industry and has handled various brands like Typhoo- Apeejay Group, Wallmart, Hindustan Times – Mumbai etc. At WLCI, Akshay trains the students on “Event Management”, “Advertising for TV” and “Public Relation”.
Anil Arora
Mr. Anil Arora has completed his Post Graduate Diploma in Camera and Lighting. He is an expert in Cinematography and Lighting Techniques. He started his career with Jain News Network in2002. Later he joined Swayam Entertainment and IBN 7 as a senior Cameraperson and he currently working with ET NOW since 2008. With his hands on expertise on all kinds of still and Video Camera formats, Mr. Anil Arora trains the Media Students at WLCI in Photography and Camera Lighting Techniques.
